The CLG addresses needs of the area by taking on the issues of connection to cultural identity and mental health wellness of the region’s families that have been ranchers and farmers for generations find that they need to commute to better paying jobs. They struggle to continue maintaining a portion of the family ranch or farm at night and on the weekends, the data of which is not reported as secondary income by the NM Department of Labor.
