Computer Lab

Program Director
Ernest Lucero

The Peñasco Computer Lab provides and increases accessibility for our rural community in order to bridge the digital divide. This program will significantly increase accessibility for the elders and youth in our community. Specifically, the 45 elementary students who utilize our space through Taos Behavioral Health. The Lab offers

Free Wifi , Public Computer Access and CHW services/On site training services, and has 1 community volunteer. Peñasco and the surrounding areas do not have consistant access to adequate internet in all areas. Where service is provided access can be costly, unaffordable, or unreliable. The lab program provides adequate internet to all. Having a CHW on site provides support to help those who are not technologically literate, which is the vast majority of our elderly population.
